2001 Obninsk Institute of Atomic Energy, Engineer-Physicist-Thermal Power Engineer (Master's degree).
Work experience
2001–2003 Engineer in the Engineering Support Department of the State Enterprise Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant.
2003–2007 Inspector of the Licensing Division of VATESI.
2007–2008 Head of the Licensing Division of VATESI.
2008–2012 Director of the Nuclear Safety Department of VATESI.
Since 2012 Deputy Head of VATESI for General Nuclear Safety Matters.
Since 2012 Member of the Nuclear Safety Standards Committee of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
Member of the European Instrument for Nuclear Safety Cooperation (INSC) Committee since 2016.
Head of the Working Group established by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania in 2018 to review the National Stress Test Report of the Belarusian NPP.
Awards
2013 – Commemorative Badge of the President of the Republic of Lithuania for personal contribution to the Lithuanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
In 2009, 2016 and 2023 awarded by the Head of VATESI with a letter of commendation and in 2024 with a personal award for the impeccable performance of his duties.
