Stakeholders evaluated VATESI activities and services in 2025
At the end of 2025, the State Nuclear Power Safety Inspectorate (VATESI) conducted annual stakeholder opinion surveys to evaluate its activities and the quality of services provided.
Three groups of stakeholders were surveyed: economic entities (license and permit holders, and applicants who received consultations), government authorities and supplier of scientific and technical support. Respondents assessed VATESI’s activities, the quality of administrative services, and the effectiveness of cooperation and partnership.
The survey results showed that economic entities evaluated VATESI’s activities positively: 50% rated the activities as very good, 40% rated them as good, 10% as satisfactory.
56% of economic entities rated the quality of consultations provided by VATESI specialists as very good, 33% as good, and 11% as satisfactory. Respondents also indicated that licenses, permits, and temporary permits were issued, and services were provided within the time limits laid down by legal acts.
In response to questions about VATESI‘s control checklists, all entities that had used them indicated that they had helped them effectively implement key safety requirements and prepare for VATESI inspections.
Government authorities also positively evaluated VATESI’s cooperation and partnership: 41% rated the cooperation as very good, 30% rated it as good and 29% had no opinion.
The consortium advising on the assessment of safety-related documentation (the scientific and technical support provider) rated VATESI cooperation as very good.
During the surveys, stakeholders provided suggestions and recommendations for improving the quality of administrative services and enhancing cooperation. These suggestions are considered valuable and contribute to the continuous improvement of VATESI’s activities.
